Equestrian Custom Embroidery

The world of Equine Embroidery is unique in that it provides the customizing and personalization of equine accessories that are sometimes difficult to handle. With much experience within the Equine sector, there is nothing that we can't embroider. We love a challenge so if you have something that you want embroidered, please give us a call

At Let's Get Personal, we embroider to the equestrian sector - including riding/pony clubs, professional riders/yards and the "one" horse rider.

Monogramming

The most conventional monogram arrangement consists of three letters: A larger central letter, flanked by two smaller letters, one on each side. One and two letter monograms also are traditional.

It is typical that the center letter is the surname or last name, with the letter on the left representing the first name or given name and the letter on the right representing the middle name. For example a name such as Sandra Jessica Robertson would appear as SRJ with the R being slightly larger than the other two letters

Placement of Monogram Design

There is some flexibility to these placement guidelines and creativity of placement is as much a part of making interesting monograms as the choice of design and the choice of thread color.

What follows are traditional placements for several categories of item.

Saddle Covers: Middle of garment

Coolers: bottom corner on an angle or straight. Placement can be in the middle of cooler as well

Saddle Carriers: Middle of garment

Garment Bags: Top Middle

Quarter Sheets: Middle or Bottom Corner

Saddle Bag: Middle Bottom

Golf-shirts, Dress Shirts, Polo Shirts etc.: As with corporate logos, 7" - 9" inches down from the left shoulder seam, and 4" - 6" over from the center.

Wash Cloths: 1 1/2" above the hem, or 1" above the border for placement parallel to the edge. For placements in the corner, turn the washcloth diagonally until the shape is a diamond, then determine placement based on the design size.

Hand Towels: 2" above the hem, or 1 1/2" above the border, on the opposite edge from the label.

Bath Towels: 4" above the hem, or 2" above the border, on the opposite edge from the label.

Shirt Cuffs: Placement on the top of the wrist, and from 1" - 1 3/8" toward the buttonhole from the center of the cuff. Cuff monograms are typically small, and are placed so that the bottom of the design is 1/4' to 1/2" above the cuff edge
